Is responsible for the performance and evaluation of various complex chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic, immunologic, and immunochemical tests to obtain date for use in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases by the physician.

• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of body fluids using manual and automated instrumentation.
• Accurately and completely report results tests and procedures.
• Effectively recognize and resolve problems, troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and ineffective procedures, and use alternative methods when appropriate.
