**Job Description Summary**
In this role, the Engineer will develop design specifications, create, and mature design concepts, provide procurement support, generate drawings and design documentation, and provide testing oversight. This position requires interface with Business Project Managers, Technical Project Engineers, Sourcing, equipment manufacturers, and with engineering teams within GE and partner companies.

•GE’s BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactor (SMR)
Primary design focus areas for our Mechanical Component Design teams include:
•BWR Equipment Design
•BWR Internal Components Design
•BWR Fuel Design (designing the mechanical components for nuclear fuel)
