Actuarial Manager – Full Time, Permanent
Location: Regina Head Office (hybrid work option available)
Salary range: $109,052 – $162,859 (after verification of education, experience, and completed exams sponsored by the Casualty Actuarial Society or Canadian Institute of Actuaries)
Key Responsibilities
Actuarial Management
- Manage actuarial investigations and communicate actuarial and technical considerations for actuarial projects.
- Ensure effective collaboration of the team with product management, finance, corporate underwriting, corporate claims, and operational teams to understand issues and recommend solutions.
- Present results of analyses and own work to SGI management.
- Enhance machine learning model building capabilities within the team.
- Work with regulators to ensure compliance and advocate for decisions in SGI's favor.
- Develop actuarial skills and acumen of self and others at SGI.
