HESQ Coordinator

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HESQ Coordinator to support our site’s Health, Environment, Safety, and Quality systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in contractor onboarding, compliance management, risk control, quality system maintenance, and continuous improvement across the operation. The position will be based at Yara Animal Nutrition South Africa (Pty) Ltd in Durban and report to the HESQ Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Contractor & Employee Onboarding: Manage contractor onboarding and safety file compliance; Conduct safety inductions and annual medical coordination; Facilitate HESQ training including PTW, Risk Assessments, and general inductions; Lead monthly contractor meetings and ensure alignment to site requirements.
