An associates and/or bachelor’s degree in Turf Management or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Golf Course Maintenance. A minimum of 1 year of experience in preparing and managing budgets for the golf course and landscape maintenance departments.

Overview
The Superintendent is responsible for supporting the Director Golf Course Maintenance with the 1st Assistant Superintendent with day-to-day operations. The responsibilities include developing and managing turf grass and plant material maintenance programs; overseeing property and asset management; managing personnel; handling budgeting, forecasting, and financial management; participating in member retention initiatives; scheduling and maintaining irrigation systems; applying pesticides and maintaining related records; and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements. The job’s oversight is limited to a single 18-hole operation.
