Frontend Engineer

Monks is looking for a Frontend Engineer to build incredible websites and web apps on the frontend of digital production.

Responsibilities

• Focus on HTML and CSS and put projects together based on design templates.
• Piece together innovative interfaces and other interactive elements, sometimes building them from scratch.
• Work across a wide range of sites and applications that engage with all elements of HTML, CSS, and JS.
• Push the boundaries of what’s possible with these languages.

Requirements

• Up-to-date with the latest standards in HTML and CSS, as well as JS in case of emergency.
• Expertise on React.
• Experience with integrating animations and responsive web development.
• Proficiency in other languages such as CSS Modules, Sass/SCSS, PostCSS.
• Can develop high-end websites and single-page applications (SPAs) without jQuery.
