Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a CDL driver in Morristown, IN. Will be utilizing company trucks, mainly flatbed and Conestoga trucks, occasionally oversized trucks.
Must be able to start days at 7AM for first route.
Will drive locally to Indianapolis neighborhoods or Cincinnati or Columbus, occasionally to Louisville. Will be transporting lumber and trusses.
Key Responsibilities
-Transporting Goods: Safely drive commercial vehicles to deliver cargo or transport passengers according to schedules and customer requirements.
-Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, check brakes, tires, lights, and other mechanical components, and report any issues.
-Loading and Unloading Cargo: Assist with unloading, and securing cargo to prevent damage during transit.
-Route Planning and Navigation: Plan efficient routes using GPS or maps, considering traffic, weather, and road conditions.
